TennCare Cuts Coming Soon

Program reductions could be mitigated somewhat by a federal decision last week to rework a formula for determining how much money the state owes the federal government in “clawback” funds — perhaps giving the state another $120 million to work with. Lawmakers say they’re still concerned the cuts are going to hit many Tennesseans hard in the midst of this prolonged recession.
